Drama Festivals
We successfully participated in the Mombasa colleges and
universities drama festivals which took place at shanzu teachers training
college with three entries on 22-3-2014. A dramatized narrative titled ‘JAMACH’. It merited a win of 1st position. A dramatized solo verse titled ‘HOUSE NO. 9’, the solo had a good
choice of theme touching on security in our community. Quite a pertinent issue,
it also merited a win of 1st
position. The third entry was a beautiful dramatized choral verse with the
title ‘THE BUTCHER’. The theme
touches on a current issue….POACHING.
The drama group will represent the county in the national
level competition at Kagumo TTC, Nyeri County. Let us Give all the support to
our drama club which has gone to represent as at the nationals. May they bring
us trophies from the competition.
