 first ever Mr. and Miss Utalii event to be held in Mombasa Campus

The Mega Event The first ever Mr. and Miss Utalii event to be held in Mombasa Campus was a great success. It took place at Alliance Francaise on the 17th of August 2013. Our newly appointed director oversaw the planning and organizing of this wonderful event to the very end. She stirred the idea in us and her zeal to materialize the vision yielded positive results.We had the honor of hosting our very own Dr. Kenneth Ombongi whose presence and support was highly appreciated. Several sponsors were also involved in making the event possible and they included; Nairobi Campus that gave out Ksh. 70,000, Cooperative Bank that gave out Ksh. 50,000, Serena Beach Hotel awarded the winners with dinner vouchers, Tijan International School of Designing provided clothes for the models, RizfarTraining College of Beauty was responsible for the models’ hairdo and make up and Oriflame awarded the winners with packages of their various products. The winners of the day were Grace Wanjiku as Miss Utalii and Justin Ondara as Mr. Utalii.The tremendous effort put in by students and staff proved great potential for greater achievements ahead.
